The Bowen Association, which was started in 1856, consists of 39 churches in the Southwest Georgia area. The Association covers Decatur, Miller, Seminole, and parts of Early, & Baker Counties. We have a strong Association that is pro-active in missions, by planting new churches, by Disaster Relief, and missions in Georgia, North America and Internationally.

We have one Hispanic Mission in Bainbridge, one in South Decatur County, one Haitian Mission, and one African American mission.

The Associational office is here to be a servant and an aide to the churches in our area to help them accomplish what the Lord is leading them to do. Our purpose is to Evangelize the Sinner, Equip the Saints, and be an Encouragement to the Saints through Exalting our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
